Women in Management Network Event

19th April 2012

We are delighted to welcome Emma Thorn, Senior Programme Manager, Google

It is said women are the unsung heroines behind the most engaging, fastest growing, and most valuable consumer internet and e-commerce companies. Especially when it comes to engaging socially for work and personal use, women really do rule the Internet. However, evidence suggests that overall less women get online than men especially when it comes to promoting themselves and their business.

Google one of the worlds most recognised and used brands and is much more than just a search engine. Google is bringing their hugely successful Getting British Business Online Campaign to Wales.

Emma Thorn is leading this campaign and will be sharing her experiences working for one of the world’s leading brands along with why this campaign is particularly looking to attract and support women. Emma will be explaining the success behind Google’s work to date, and the support available for you and your business.

Date: Thursday, 19th April 2012
