21st Century Welfare Reform poses the most significant threat to women’s independence in living memory. Such is the extent that women could see their:

Financial independence eroded

Ability to remain in work undermined

Dependence on partners increased
This is so regressive you have to ask “What would Mrs Pankhurst say?” about such an unfair and unnecessary attack on women in the 21st Century.

As a proactive reaction to 21st Century Welfare Chwarae Teg in partnership with Women in society Journal has arranged this conference. It will be opened with a ministerial address and you’ll hear from expert speakers, including:
