Since 1992, we’ve been working to ensure that women in Wales can enter the workplace, develop their skills and build rewarding careers.
We have a vision of a Wales where every woman and girl is treated equally, is able to fully participate in the economy, and public and political life and live safe from violence and fear.
Women’s Equality Network (WEN) Wales, Chwarae Teg, Women Connect First and Welsh Women’s Aid launched a Manifesto for Equality for Women and Girls in Wales.
This manifesto sets out clear actions in a range of policy areas that will deliver the change we need to see: Our Manifesto
Building a Wales where women achieve and prosper across all sectors and at all levels in the economy
Building a Wales where women are visible and influential across all sectors of the economy, society and in public life
Building a Wales where women are empowered to achieve their potential, regardless of their background, social status, or geographic location
This inequality is not just a ‘women’s issue’ but is everybody’s business. Our economy and society as a whole stands to benefit from a more equal landscape.
