The leading agency for the economic development of women in Wales. Established in 1992, Chwarae Teg supports, develops and expands the role of women in the Welsh economy. Initially set up by a consortium of public sector agencies Chwarae Teg is now a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.
We believe that the Welsh economy will only reach its full potential when every individual is given an equal opportunity to contribute.
Women are playing a greater role in the economy than ever before, but continue to face obstacles in education, employment and enterprise that prevent many form developing their skills and careers.
The work we do is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and Europe with income from membership and consultancy further supporting our activities.
