Ruth Marks
Chief Executive

 

Ruth became Chief Executive of Chwarae Teg in December 1999 after spending four years as Deputy Director of Business in the Community Wales. In a career that has spanned the public and private sectors Ruth has worked for companies including Borg Warner Automotive, NACRO and the Wales Council for Voluntary Action.

A graduate in Law and History from Cardiff University Ruth is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the All Wales European Policy Group, Wales Council for Voluntary Action Board, the Voluntary Sector Partnership Council and Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids Club Board.

 

     

Yvonne Griffith-Jones
Director of Policy and Development

 

Yvonne joined Chwarae Teg in 2000 after working for the Arts Council for Wales, Care and Repair Wales and as a Community Development Officer for Mantell Gwynedd. She has a degree in Welsh and drama from Bangor University and a postgraduate degree in media studies.

Yvonne has 15 years of experience working in the voluntary sector in the areas of strategic and policy development.

As a qualified Disability Equality trainer and a facilitator of Forum Theatre she has a rich background of experience in training and equality issues.
