Director - Policy & Development

We are recruiting for an exciting and demanding new post to join the Senior Management team. The successful candidate will be an experienced manager of people with a flair for creative thinking and sound analytical reasoning.

Your background may be in the private, voluntary or public sector and you will be able to show a clear understanding of, and commitment to, economic development in Wales. With a keen interest in equal opportunities you will also have a thorough understanding of Welsh cultural, identity and language issues.

With extensive experience of developing and influencing policy agendas, delivering research programmes and securing significant funding from grants and other sources you will:

Manage all Chwarae Teg’s policy, business development, research and communications activities.

Source and secure a variety of funding streams to support and enable the full range of our work.

The successful applicant must also demonstrate well-developed communication and people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of contacts throughout Wales.
