Tell us about your organisation.
Anderson Quigley builds better organisations and life-changing careers. Through outstanding client service and personal, responsible support to candidates, we bring expertise in executive search, interim management and advisory services. Driven by a core set of values: integrity, diversity and hands-on project ownership, we bring our expertise to bear for organisations that focus on improving the well-being of society and social development, delivering leadership recruitment in the education, healthcare, not-for-profit and government sectors. Above all, we are a responsible business, focused on individual and collective development to support continual learning.
Why are you supporting the awards?
Our business is to seek out the best candidates for our clients to build better organisations. However, the best candidates need to reflect the diverse nature of our society and gender equality needs to be at the forefront of any executive search process. Anderson Quigley are passionate about helping to support and drive gender equality in social development sectors and specifically at board level where under-representation is a recognised challenge.
The Chwarae Teg Womenspire Awards enables us to connect with talent and employers who acknowledge, identify, support and promote women in business, particularly at board level. Celebrating the achievements of such an outstanding group of women at such a high profile event encourages more institutions and organisations to sit up and take note and we hope that it will continue to change attitudes and create balance.
Why does gender equality matter to you?
Diversity is a core Anderson Quigley value, but we know we can’t effectively tackle this multi-faceted subject in its entirety. We understand the positive effect when there is a fair representation of women at the highest levels in the workplace. We want to be seen as supporting and championing this agenda, as it is only through continued persistence that organisations will benefit from the ultimate success gender equality brings.
Why do you support the work of Chwarae Teg?
Anderson Quigley cannot tackle this challenge alone and recognise the strength in partnering with Chwarae Teg in the promotion, support and encouragement of women to realise their potential and to inspire future generations. As Chwarae Teg expands its own networks across the UK Anderson Quigley also hopes our reach across England and Wales will help create a symbiotic relationship where our collective focus will support change.
