SamKat is a growing consultancy based in Cardiff, we specialise in the charity and non-profit sector. We help organisations set up or further develop income streams. Our main aim is to work with organisations to help them become self-sustaining as funding changes happen.

Why are you supporting the awards?

We attended Womenspire for the first time in 2017 and were blown away and inspired by the women featured at the awards. It is such a different event that truly supports women in Wales. It aligns perfectly with the values of SamKat as an organisation, supporting a great charity in Chwarae Teg and helping them to deliver a celebration of great women – how could we not be involved!

Why does gender equality matter to you?

SamKat is a women led organisation. Having been women in the workplace for over 20 years, it is very obvious that there is still work to be done on gender equality. Equal representation across all areas of life is better for everyone and it is something that we must strive for.

Why do you support the work of Chwarae Teg?

Chwarae Teg is a super organisation. SamKat have been lucky enough to work with the team and they are working hard each and every day to deliver gender equality. They are unique and there isn’t another organisation like them in the UK or Europe. We need to continue to support Chwarae Teg so they can further the work they have started.
