Why are you supporting the awards?
We sponsored and attended the awards back in 2021, were inspired by those recognised and were delighted to be offered the opportunity to sponsor again this year. As an organisation, we want to be part of the movement to improve and change the lives of women in industry, for the better. The sentiment behind the awards is closely aligned to the culture and beliefs within SysGroup and we are proud to be able to offer our support. We are passionate to harness the power of diversity we will go out of our way to get involved, hence the association with Chwarae Teg and Womenspire 2023.
Why does gender equality matter to you?
As an equal opportunities employer SysGroup recognises that there are not enough women within the IT Sector. We are striving to do our part in improving that, whether by reviewing the language in our advertisements to remove any gender bias, or by partnering with organisations that we believe are removing barriers and boundaries for women. We recognise that we have an important role in supporting the women in industry today in order to inspire and pave the way for future generations.

Chwarae Teg are leaders across Wales in pushing the messages of inclusion and diversity for all, driving the adoption of a fairer representation of women into the economy. Their work to ensure women are given a fair chance in the workplace is influential and inspiring. SysGroup and Chwarae Teg have had a business relationship for many years, and with a SysGroup office based in Newport, South Wales, we look forward to supporting Chwarae Teg’s work into the future.
