‘Achieving’ employer of choice goal

A research business, which has long focused on a culture of staff engagement, has taken even further steps to secure its place as a top employer.

Miller Research, based in Monmouthshire, has been awarded ‘Achieving’ status through Chwarae Teg’s FairPlay Employer business programme. The success has cemented the company’s ethos of investing in staff, which in turn leads to becoming an employer of choice and meeting business goals.

Specialising in research, consultancy and evaluation, the business was set up 20 years ago and works across a range of sectors for clients in Wales and across the UK.

We know that our staff are our best asset and investing some time, working through the business programme with Chwarae Teg, means we now have the latest family friendly policies and staff development practices in place.

“By providing staff with what they need in work and supporting a work-life balance, we have a happy and thriving business and workforce. We want to maintain our recent growth and make sure that the best people see us as a place they want to work. Now as a business we can demonstrate we are ‘achieving’ high standards.

Office Manager, Miller Research

Working with Miller Research was a very rewarding experience as they were tuned into what they wanted from the business programme - to create an even more inclusive culture and positive team. The business thoroughly deserves its ‘Achieving’ award and I know it will continue to develop and go from strength to strength in future.

"Our business programme concentrates on what organisations need the most, whether it is improvements to flexible working, communication, working relationships, recruitment and more. Ultimately this is all fully funded and can deliver better performance, reputation and an increased client base and output for businesses.
