Eversheds Sutherland is a global law firm, with offices in more than 30 countries, including our long established office of 470 people in Cardiff. We provide legal advice and solutions to an international client base across company commercial, human resources, litigation and dispute management, real estate and through Konexo, our alternative legal services practice. We are known in the market for our commercial awareness and industry knowledge and for providing innovative and tailored solutions for our clients.
Our purpose is: Helping our clients, our people and our communities to thrive. This is central to all we do, and we are proud of our culture and our values that drive our behaviour.
Why are you supporting the awards?
The success of each of the women nominated in the awards has a positive impact for them, their employer, their family and the community in which they live.
At Eversheds Sutherland we are passionate about developing an inclusive culture in which our people are empowered to fulfil their potential. Our Gender Network has a key role to play in championing gender equality across our business, the legal profession and with our clients. We are delighted to have this opportunity to support and celebrate the fantastic achievements of women in Wales.
Why does gender equality matter to you?
At Eversheds Sutherland, we are committed to building a gender-balanced business and living our values to embed an open, professional and inclusive culture. This commitment is at the heart of our strategic focus to develop an environment where colleagues of all genders can develop to their full potential, making fulfilling career choices and where gender or gender identity does not pose a barrier to success.
We are proud to be a Times Top 50 Employer for Women and of the progress we have made as a business towards gender equality. However, we recognise there is more to do. We continue to work hard towards our international gender targets through a focused action plan that support our aims to attract, recruit, retain and promote the best diverse talent, and embed our inclusive culture.
