Working with Chwarae Teg - Flexible working benefits and Rewards

Pension
Chwarae Teg contribute the equivalent of 6% into a Norwich Union Stakeholder pension plan. Individuals can of course make further personal contributions as well.

Hours
Full time - 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Part time - Chwarae Teg has members of staff working a wide range of part time and flexible hours.

Work Life Balance
Chwarae Teg has generous policies on Parental leave, Carers leave and Compassionate leave. We encourage all employees to balance their work and home lives and look positively at any requests to restructure the individual’s working week to achieve this. We are currently exploring areas such as Home-working and sabbatical leave to compliment our work life balance ethos.

Time off in lieu
Chwarae Teg operates a ‘time off in lieu’ (TOIL) policy. Staff who work more than their normal hours in a working week claim back that time by arrangement with their line manager.

Holidays
25 days annual leave - pro rata for part time 8 statutory/bank holidays
4 privilege days and 2 extra days
The holiday year runs from April to March

Personal Development
Your progress at work is reviewed twice a year.
You will have your own Personal Development Plan, to address your training needs.

Welsh Language
Chwarae Teg is committed to promoting the Welsh language. Members of staff wishing to learn Welsh will be encouraged and supported.
