Womenspire 2019 - Celebrating incredible women

19th June 2019

With less than three weeks to go until the 2019 Womenspire awards, we are very proud to present our national celebration of women in Wales, once again in partnership with ITV Wales and sponsored by a range of companies proudly demonstrating their commitment to gender equality.

We're here to celebrate the trailblazers, the role models, the smashers of glass ceilings and most importantly of all we are celebrating the people who help others achieve.

Former First Minister of Wales

On 4th July at the Womenspire 2019 awards we will see and hear remarkable stories from all corners and all communities of Wales. It is a great opportunity to celebrate these incredible women and forward-thinking businesses who are contributing to gender equality and supporting others. These role models raise expectations in work, in our communities and in decision-making. They make us all want to do better and do more for gender equality in Wales.

Gender equality is good for everyone - women, men, families, businesses and our communities. By ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be heard and reach their full potential we are not only improving life for ourselves but for generations to come.

Womenspire is an awards event like no other and this year the team have raised the bar even higher! On arrival at St Fagans - the Welsh National Museum of History, the reception will feel like a festival with live entertainment, an array of street food and attendees will be encouraged to explore the museum and make new connections. The inspiring awards ceremony that follows will share some incredible stories and recognise the extraordinary achievements of this year’s finalists and award winners.

Tickets are available here, I look forward to seeing you there!

What's really humbling is that a lot of these women have no idea how fantastic they are and it's just an amazing opportunity for ITV to be able to tell these women's stories and be part of this event.
