We are very aware of, and are listening to, the significant and constructive feedback we have received regarding the lack of diversity in the list of women currently featured in our ‘Women of Covid’ campaign. The campaign seeks to engage with the public, asking you to share with us stories of the women who have been leading the response to the Covid 19 crisis both on the frontline and within our communities so that we can help to showcase and celebrate them. We recognise that we were wrong to publish the list of women who have been nominated so far as it stands and we apologise for this. We are wholly committed to doing better and we are working with a range of partners and stakeholders to gather the stories of more women from a diversity of backgrounds.
