Working with Chwarae Teg

Do you want to work alongside ambitious colleagues with a passion for creating positive change?

At Chwarae Teg, we are all Changemakers.

We have the power to make change happen, whether that be via changing mindsets, priorities, business practices or government policies. We empower positive change across sectors, by challenging stereotypes and discriminatory behaviours, by supporting all women, and by implementing practices that will support our mission of achieving gender equality.

We are Inclusive.

We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce is the best kind of workforce, leading to greater productivity, creativity and better decision making. We understand that inequality manifests itself in many ways and will affect people differently according to an individual’s experiences, socio-economic status, age, religion and beliefs (or non-beliefs), culture, disability, race, sexual orientation and gender identity. We are seeking to build a diverse and inclusive workforce within Chwarae Teg, that is reflective of all communities across Wales.

Everybody is welcome at Chwarae Teg - we only ask that our people have a passion for fair play and for making a positive difference.

Is Chwarae Teg for me?

We provide a range of communication channels to ensure every employee has a voice that is heard and can help shape our thinking as well as our working practices.

We are an ambitious, creative and passionate organisation. People with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a collaborative approach to achieving our goals will enjoy working for us.

Guaranteed Interview Scheme

(For Disabled people and people from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups)

We are actively seeking to increase diversity within our workforce, and we are committed to ensuring we recruit the best people on the objective basis of their skills, ability and experience.

We have been awarded Disability Confident status and are committed to encouraging the employment and career development of disabled people. We also extend this commitment to the employment and career development of people from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.

We offer a guaranteed interview to eligible applicants who choose to opt-in to the scheme and demonstrate that they meet the minimum qualifying criteria for the vacancy, within their personal statement.

To be eligible to apply via the Guaranteed Interview Scheme, you must either consider yourself to be disabled and this substantially affects your ability to do normal daily activities OR be from/part of an ethnic group who do not identify as White British/English/Welsh/
Scottish/Northern Irish.

If you tell us that you are a disabled person, we will aim to make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process, as practicable.

An application submitted under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme does not guarantee you a job. The successful candidate will obtain the job on merit, or equal merit, following interview and based upon assessment criteria as relevant to the role.

We always aim to interview all eligible applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the job. Under exceptional circumstance it may be necessary to select eligible candidates based upon who best meets the minimum criteria for the job e.g. We need to limit the overall number of interviews that take place.
