The award demonstrates that Qualifications Wales is firmly committed to gender equality and diversity and has a clear determination to engage employees at all levels to provide opportunities for all.

Qualifications Wales is only the second organisation to receive a Gold Standard FairPlay award.
The innovative FairPlay Employer programme benchmarks organisations against others in the same sector, determines key areas of success and those needing development. This is then followed by a journey of guided support and improvement, including a bespoke action plan and access to a range of resources and events.
Achieving a Gold FairPlay Employer award is incredibly tough and truly reflects the commitment Qualifications Wales has to gender equality. They have worked very hard to ensure a culture of diversity and inclusion is embedded throughout the organisation, and so I’m delighted they are receiving the recognition they deserve.
