Are you an experienced HR Professional with a passion for equality and diversity?
Do you want to utilise your skills to support culture change and improve inclusivity in the workplace?

We currently have a vacancy for a HR Employer Consultant to join our FairPlay Employer team.

The aim of Fairplay Employer is to work with Businesses and Leaders across the UK, steering a culture change to eradicate stereotypical thinking and behaviours and to engender well-being. We identify the areas of need within an organisation that are inhibiting the recruitment, retention and progression of women, with the aim of eradicating intersectional systemic inequalities. In addition, we support leadership development across those organisations to drive equality driven, inclusive leaders.

All profits from FairPlay Employer are reinvested into Chwarae Teg to support the charity to deliver on its objectives.

As a HR Employer Consultant every day is varied; working with organisations from public, private and third sector within various industries across the UK. This role would suit a confident and competent HR professional adept at reviewing current working practices, providing recommendations and offering guidance and support to clients. Our HR Employer Consultants work on our FairPlay Employer Award subscription predominantly, with additional delivery through FairPlay Employer Solutions.

The successful applicant will join a talented team of individuals, where they will utilise their HR knowledge and experience to support our FairPlay Employer Clients, being a critical friend along their journey to inclusion, equality and diversity. Training will be provided around our benchmarking procedure. The successful applicant would ideally have a practical understanding of the Equality Act 2010, with experience of implementing equality, diversity and inclusion best practice. They will have experience of demonstrating a commercial mind-set when providing support to clients and be capable of working alone and in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to obtain outcomes and meet financial targets in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for the development of additional content and delivery of sessions outside of the FairPlay Employer Award Programme, as required, as well as continuous improvement of the programme itself.
