We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Policy and Research Team, playing an integral role in supporting our influencing and research work. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team to shape and deliver our public affairs work at the start of a new Senedd term.

As Policy and Public Affairs Partner, you will identify the change needed to tackle the structural causes of gender inequality, developing policy positions and working to ensure that our key messages are effectively communicated to those with the power to take action. Through drafting policy papers, consultation responses and articles, developing and strengthening relationships with politicians and key stakeholders and delivering projects such as our LeadHership scheme, you will ensure that women’s voices are heard and that public policy understands and responds to women’s needs.

To be successful in this role you will have a passion for policy, a flare for communication, experience of public affairs and a good understanding of politics and devolution. You will have well developed communication skills and be able to write for a range of audiences. If this sounds like you please get in touch!

Your Safety

All roles within Chwarae Teg are home-based and supported by the provision of a company laptop and mobile phone to be used for work purposes. Our work is currently being undertaken with covid-19 safety measures in place, therefore, we expect this role to predominantly be carried out via video conferencing and other virtual communication methods at this time. Chwarae Teg will continue to monitor the situation and assess impact on our service delivery accordingly.

The Role

Salary: £28,235

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week (Must be flexible to meet client needs)

Flexibility: All Chwarae Teg roles are offered on a flexible basis due to our agile working model. Condensed hours, part time/job share and secondments may be considered.

Location: Home-based

Contract: Permanent
