Careers in STEM are Not Just for Boys

High School aged girls in across Wales are being encouraged to sign up for the latest Not Just For Boys free webinar event.

Run by Chwarae Teg in partnership with The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), the webinar will take place from 1pm-2pm on Wednesday 1 July.

Together they will show that careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are Not Just For Boys.

Four inspiring women working at ABPI will take part in the webinar and give girls a chance to:

  • Discover what ‘a day in a life’ looks like working in a STEM industry
  • Hear how ABPI have been working in the fight against COVID-19
  • Be inspired by their career journeys
  • Ask the role models any questions around their careers

During these challenging times, this webinar is a fun and interactive way of helping to keep girls inspired and motivated, whilst showcasing rewarding careers within STEM industries.
